In this profession, you will be responsible for designing and developing machines right from bicycles to supersonic fighter jets and toasters which can be extremely challenging and fulfilling, requiring analytical skills together with an ability to work in a team. You must love machines and be comfortable working with tools!
In order to be a mechanical engineer, the students need to have an understanding of the core concepts of :
mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity. The mechanical engineers utilize these core concepts along with tools like computer-aided design, and product life cycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices, weapons, and others.
